In ‘Overview’, Teague Wright has invited 35 artists to submit a fl ag based on the Earth Day Flag. Th e fl ag was invented by John McConnell in 1969 as a symbol of environmental protection. Th e title plays reference to the Overview Eff ect; a sensation felt by astronauts as they take their fi rst glimpse of the Earth, orbiting above us, struck with the insignifi cance of life on our planet.
