Three Four Three Four and Auto Body are pleased to present 8:33, a group exhibition occurring on the summer solstice. Monday, June 20th, 2016 is the longest day of year, with a full moon rising at 8:33pm, three minutes after sunset.
8:33 will take place for one evening only, on the roof of Three Four Three Four. The gallery is located in a network of warehouses in Sunset Park, Brooklyn, neighboring the Gowanus Bay, Red Hook Channel, and Bay Ridge Channel. Both the East and Hudson Rivers can be seen funneling into these waterways.
Participating artists have been invited to survey the expansive rooftop and riverside structure,
exploring ideas of light, time, environment, natural landscape, and the elements.

Auto Body is an exhibition space created by eight artists from Bellport, New York. Starting in an empty Auto Repair Garage, they have since curated over 20 exhibitions and events in Long Island, New York, Miami and Los Angeles. Auto Body highlights elements from the local environment and seeks to build community through each project. Auto Bodyʼs most recent outdoor venture, MIAMI, took place at 2120 Sunset Drive in Miami Beach and ran concurrent with Miami Basel in December, 2015.
Three Four Three Four is an artist-run gallery founded by Nick Fusaro in 2013 and based in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. This is the third off-site and second outdoor exhibition organized by Three Four Three Four. The first being B(L)RRR, which took place outdoors at Chelsea Park on 10th Avenue in New York, shortly after a snow storm.
