E – Performative explorations are at the basis of Linda Semadeni’s work, within which repetition takes a multidimensional role. Most recently, Semadeni transformed a sentence into an expansive floor painting, via repitition, stretching and twisting. In her current works, she continues these movements and explores them anew. Seeing destabilizes itself and is set in motion over and again.

Song of the Sensitive is Linda Semadeni’s second solo exhibition at Kirchgasse. As winner of the Manor Art Prize 2023, a solo exhibition at the Bündner Kunstmuseum Chur will follow in February.

Linda Semadeni (*1985 in Bern) lives and works in Zürich.
