Good Weather is pleased to present Houdini Gulch, a group exhibition of work by Talon Gustafson, Gretta Johnson, and Ashley Zangle from Feb 2–Mar 16, 2018. An opening reception for the show is on Fri, Feb 2, 2018 from 7–9 pm.

Talon Gustafson (b. 1977 Mokena, Illinois) was raised in Centennial, Wyoming and is based in Brooklyn. He received an MFA from Cranbrook Academy of Art, studied at Rhode Island School of Design, and received a BFA from Minneapolis College of Art and Design. He has exhibited with Good Weather at Art Los Angeles Contemporary (ALAC), NADA New York, in the two person exhibition Never odd or even at Syndicate (Cologne), and in the solo exhibition Country Husband (Eat M) in North Little Rock. He has participated in group shows at Atlanta Contemporary, Sadie Halie Projects (Brooklyn), COOP (Nashville), The Bedfellow’s Club (Chicago), Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit, Allegra LaViola Gallery (New York), Museum of Public Fiction (Los Angeles), and The Waiting Room Gallery (Tokyo). He is co-founder of online arts publication WOW HUH and operates the apartment gallery Culture Room with Ashley Zangle.

Gretta Johnson (b. 1985 Milwaukee, Wisconsin) is a New York based artist. She received her BFA from Rhode Island School of Design in 2008. She has had solo exhibitions at Feuer/Mesler (New York), Culture Room (Brooklyn), and was half of a two person show at Safe Gallery (Brooklyn). Her work has been included in recent exhibitions at Harpy Gallery (New Jersey) as well as the Green River Project (Hillsdale, New York). In 2015 her second art book OOLM was published by Dark Chart Press.

Ashley Zangle (b. 1985 Babylon, New York) lives and works in Brooklyn. She has a BFA in Painting from Rhode Island School of Design. Her work has been included in group shows at Helper Gallery (Brooklyn), The Bedfellow’s Club (Chicago), Java Projects (Brooklyn), Sadie Halie Projects (Brooklyn), Museum of Public Fiction (Los Angeles), Good Work Gallery (Brooklyn), and Kunstalle Galapagos (Brooklyn). She collaborated with Lou Dallas, a New York based fashion line, on sets and backdrops for SS18 and SS17 shows, and is co-founder of the apartment gallery Culture Room, established in 2011 with Talon Gustafson.
