Where Wild Flowers Grow carries a message within its name that has proven to be essential in the process of bringing this show into being. By finding ways to prosper, however the surrounding environment may present itself, the seed takes control of its own growth.

The works of twelve artists who among others hold the reins of Armada settle themselves in the cellar of the usual exhibition space. They share values but have divergent priorities and intensity. Although their closeness allows them to be influenced by one another, their own individual frequencies move in different directions and cross at irregular times.

It is a mistake to believe that unity is formed through a complete synchronization of ideals. It may be a struggle to maintain a stable balance of such energies, but diversity in a group is sometimes what strengthens its spirit.

The geometric pattern imprinted in the dust on the floor expands throughout the territory and creates a nucleus around which the works orbit. It also serves as a silent agreement emphasizing the collective involvement that was brought forward in time.
