Trade Mission Of The Lost Goods At Ma Project, Perugia 18

at SUNSET is proud to present the exhibition “Trade Mission of the Lost Goods” at Ma project

at SUNSET is a Scheveningen-based art space that shares its venue with a rotating selection of national and international artist-run spaces. It is an artist-run initiative that aims to foster dialogue, exchange, and connection, with a strong focus on the creative process with artists and collectives.

For this exhibition, at SUNSET has been invited by Ma Project, an artist-run space in Perugia, Italy, that focuses on local artists.

This exhibition centers on what cannot be easily measured: inspiration, meaningful conversations, and the joy of sharing good food, with contemporary art at the core. Here, art is not treated as a marketable commodity but as a catalyst—an element that both slows down time and intensifies its richness.

The “Trade Mission of the Lost Goods” will primarily emphasize the process: forging new human connections, engaging in dialogue about shared experiences, and exchanging ideas and creativity, rather than merely showcasing the artworks. Yet, art will still be present—subtly but vitally—as it is, of course, the reason we talk, eat, and come together.
