Emalin is pleased to announce TALL BOYS & A DOUBLE ESPRESSO, the first exhibition of Tt X AB, a collaboration between Alvaro Barrington and Teresa Farrell. The exhibition presents a new installation by Tt X AB, alongside works from Farrell’s and Barrington’s practices.

Alvaro Barrington (b. 1983, Caracas, VE. Lives and works between London, UK and Brooklyn, NY, USA) completed his MFA at The Slade School of Art, London in 2017. Currently, his solo exhibition GARVEY: SEX LOVE NURTURING FAMALAY is on view at Sadie Coles HQ, London. Recent exhibitions include Artist I Steal From, curated by Barrington and Julie Peyton-Jones, Thaddaeus Ropac (London, UK, 2019); Alvaro Barrington, with David Weiss, Emalin (London, UK, 2018); A Tas-te of Chocolate, Thaddaeus Ropac (London, UK, 2018); Natura Naturans, Mendes Wood (New York, NY, USA, 2018); and Alvaro Barrington, curated by Klaus Bie-senbach, MoMA PS1 (Long Island City, NY, USA, 2017).
Teresa Farrell (b.1987 in Brooklyn, NY, USA) completed her BFA at Hunter College NY in 2013. Recent exhibitions include Dude, You‘re wearing me out, Cult Party (Brooklyn, NY, USA. 2018); Condo London, with David Weiss (Emalin, London, UK hosting Weiss Falk, Basel, CH. 2018); Alvaro Barrington, MoMA PS1 (NY, USA. 2017); and Beach Bawdy, The Castle (Rockaway Beach, NY, USA. 2017).
