Stefania Carlotti (*1994, Italy) is an artist living and working between Lausanne and Berlin.
She attended Visual Art Master at ECAL in Lausanne and previously studied at Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti in Milan.
Stefania Carlotti’s work reproduces and reinterprets specific characters, objects and situations. From cinematic stereotypes to communication strategies and collective fantasies, she combines and blends all these elements to investigate the parameters of psychological power that underlie them and the absurdity they embody.
Since 2021, Stefania has been co-founder of 13 Vitrine, an artist-run-space in Lausanne
