Short Cuts I: Andrea Fourchy
From February 10th to March 18th, LOMEX will exhibit a series of presentations eschewing the traditional format of a group show. Three single bodies of work, each by a different artist, will be on view one at a time in the gallery rotating approximately every two weeks.
Initially, the gallery will exhibit a single large scale painting by Andrea Fourchy, Alcove so great outdoors. It is presented alongside drawings used in its construction. Paintings continuing this series are now on display as of this week at Felix Gaudlitz, Vienna.
Short Cuts II: Rasoul Ashtary
From February 10th to April 1st, LOMEX will exhibit a series of presentations eschewing the traditional format of a group show. Three single bodies of work, each by a different artist, will be on view one at a time in the gallery rotating approximately every two weeks.
For its second iteration opening February 23rd, the gallery will exhibit a suite of paintings by Berlin-based artist Rasoul Ashtary made across the last three years. Born in 1991 in Tehran, Ashtary attended the Städelschule from 2016-2022. In 2022 he had a solo exhibition at Diez Gallery in Amsterdam, and will exhibit at Liste with Diez this summer.
