The opening of the new address is taking place on September 16 with an inaugural group exhibition entitled « Mon palais, choir ». It takes the name from a book by Jessy Razafimandimby, published alongside his exhibition a few months ago. The group exhibition is featuring the works of artists represented by the gallery, or who will be the subject of an exhibition during the year 2022 – 2023: Aysha E Arar, Robert Brambora, Zuzanna Czebatul, Ezio Gribaudo, Jacent, Paula Kamps, Tanja Nis-Hansen, Johanna Odersky, Hamish Pearch, Jessy Razafimandimby, Agnes Scherer and Yan Xinyue.
« Mon Palais, choir » refers to the history of the space itself, formerly a Bourbon Restoration-era bar, whose facade is registered as a Historic Monument, one of the last examples of this emblematic architecture. The exhibited works evoke conviviality, communal life; a celebration bringing together practices that illustrate the variety of projects offered by sans titre.
