One thing is to be a fan. Another is to convince someone to take a day off from his or her winter sleep to talk about what you believe is a shared field of interests. Eventually still being a fan but becoming a friend.

In the winter of 2015 Lennart Lahuis contacted Willem Oorebeek. It is a conversation in Dutch between two artists residing in French-speaking countries. A shadow partner, we have no intentions of making conclusions on its outcome. Instead, we let ourselves dwell on the inertia of something that has or is supposed to have velocity.
