This is Hollywood, land of dreams. Some dreams come true, some don’t; but keep on dreamin’ — this is Hollywood. “Pretty Woman” ends with the worse piece of advice ever. It’s not about the dreaming, it’s all about the story. What you really need is a damn good story. A house it’s just a house unless you don’t have a good story for it. Imagine walking toward a house with a realtor who has nothing much to say. Imagine yourself staring at the facade, hoping for a miracle to break the silence..

Harold Ancart (born 1980 in Brussels, BE) lives and works in New York. His work has been exhibited at the Menil Collection, Houston; Centre Pompidou-Metz; Palais de Tokyo, Paris; WIELS, Brussels; FKA Witte de With, Rotterdam; Musée d’Art Moderne de Paris; Rubell Museum, Miami; Public Art Fund, New York; the Sculpture Park, Madhavendra Palace, Jaipur; Astrup Fearnley Museet, Oslo; Yuz Museum, Shanghai; and the Taipei Biennial.
