Taken from the title of the 2006 compilation album by Underground Resistance, The Destruction of Order is a continuation of White’s exploration of the end of the Nation-state through a cannibalistic prophecy which was first explored during her German debut, When Disaster Strikes in late 2023 In the last throes of Western empires, White again asks, “Can the Master’s tools dismantle the Master’s house?”.
White does not ask this question expecting an assimilative outcome to using the master’s tools. No, instead she ponders this question looking at self-sabotage or annihilation as the likely outcome drawing on maritime disasters, corrupt algorithms and outsmarted systems as her starting points. Instead, she rehashes this question as “What happens when the predator is hunted using its own tools?”.
Destruction of Order presents a graveyard of pathetic traps crushed under the weight of the Shipwrecked, the only survivors of the collapse.
