By exploring different perceptive and visual resources, Cristián Silva’s third solo exhibition in the gallery, entitled Aurora Borealis | Fata Morgana, tries to close fissures and explore reality through cultural, poetic, political, social and aesthetic observations.
He brings reversed images floating between day and night, between what is imperceptible and strident, between north and south, mythology and reality, roaming among the reflections of memory: a world of expansion that talks about internal and external agitation, about melancholy, migration journeys, energy and instrumental bursts, about mirages that reinvent the objective world.
This ensemble of new pieces seems to be sealed under an unfathomable code; apparently simplified with almost a mathematical rhythm, it is all about sentimental fragments sewed together in a journey of ideas and images touching and crashing into each other.
