Maria Guzmán Capron received her MFA from the California College of the Arts and was the recipient of the Graduate Painting Fellowship. Part Colombian and part Peruvian, Maria has lived in Italy, Colombia and the United States. Her work has been shown at many venues throughout the Bay Area, Texas, Chicago and Peru. Her most recent solo show at City Limits, She Bop, was featured in Art in America. Capron works out of CTRL + SHFT, a studio collective in Oakland that she founded with 11 other artists.
Kari Cholnoky (b. 1988 in Stamford, CT) holds a MFA from Cranbrook Academy of Art. Cholnoky has exhibited her work in solo and two person exhibitions in Detroit, MI, Brooklyn, NY, Singapore and Berlin, Germany. She was the 2014 recipient of the Mercedes Benz Financial Services Emerging Artist Award and has had her work reviewed in ArtNews, Hyperallergic and The Detroit News. Cholnoky lives and works in Brooklyn, NY.
Ben Quinn is from Dayton, OH. Quinn received a BFA from Columbus College of Art & Design and recently graduated from the MFA studio program at California College of the Arts. Quinn has recently exhibited at No Place (Columbus, Ohio) and Cutty Limits (Oakland).
Jennifer Sullivan is a New Yorkbased interdisciplinary artist. Solo exhibitions include Revenge Body at Five Car Garage (Los Angeles, 2016), House Cat at Arts + Leisure (New York, 2015), Big Girl Paintings at Five Car Garage (Los Angeles, 2014), Adult Movie at Las Cienegas Projects (Los Angeles, 2011) and OneWeek Walden at Freight + Volume (New York, 2010). Sullivan has also exhibited and performed in exhibitions at MoMA, PS1, Essex Flowers, Pablo’s Birthday, 247365, Klaus Von Nichtsaggend, and Arthouse. Awards include a fellowship at the Fine Arts Work Center and residencies at Skowhegan, OxBow, and Yaddo. Her work has been reviewed in the NY Times, Artforum, and Art Papers, and her videos are included in the Geisel Library collection at the University of California in San Diego.
