Sometimes I dream of hammers.
I am hammering it back into sand, the sand we melt into glass, the glass we blow into bottles.
This stone is fifteen green bottles with nothing inside.

Samuel François, Born 1977, Pompey, France. Lives and works in France. His works were widely exhibited in galleries and institutions such as Galerie Jeanroch Dard (Paris/Brussels), Rod Barton Gallery (London), Berthold Pott (Cologne) and in collective exhibitions at the Musée Musée Départemental du Sel (Marsal), Centre Georges Pompidou (Paris), BWA (Wroclaw), MarfaBookCompany (Marfa) and Autocenter (Berlin). He is represented by Berthold Pott Gallery (Cologne).
Piotr Skiba, Born in 1980 Wroclaw (Poland). Lives and Works in Wroclaw and Stettin. MA Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw ( Painting and Sculpture Departament). His works has been exhibited in Whitebox Art Center NY, CCA Ujazdowski Castle, Zachęta National Gallery of Art Warsaw, MWW Contemporary Museum Wroclaw, The Bangkok Art and Culture Centre (BACC) Thailand, Palazzo Saluzzo Paesana Turin, Art Station Foundation Poznan, Center of Polish Sculpture Oronsko, The Workbench International Milan. He is represented by Wschód Gallery (Warsaw) and Giorgio Galotti (Turin).
