There is a place and a time where things are not entirely straightforward. Where they do not come together to form a coherent whole. On the contrary, they are complex, intricate, and full of as many contradictions and contrasts as connections and relationships. What is this place and time, you might ask. I hear you. This particular place and time is not easily grasped. But do not despair, I say. It is a place and a time that hold depths and open horizons beyond established knowledge and common reason, introducing experiences and insights that arise in the mouth, the nose, and the stomach, through gentle touches and curious gazes; in the small details as well as in the overwhelming perspectives. It is a place and a time inhabited by unusual objects that originate in strange processes and cycles that involve humans, yet are so much greater than the human. Yes, it is easy to get lost in this place and time. Perhaps even to feel lost. There is nothing wrong with that. It is understandable. Many before you have felt the same way. But many have also come to the realization that in this place and time, you get nowhere by holding on to yourself, to the familiar forms. Instead, you need to accept that forms are in constant change; that the mental and material forms of life have always been changing and will always be changing; stretched out between the past, the present, and eternity. For such is the world where this place and time exist.
