Mosie Romney (b. 1994, New York) lives and works in Ridgewood, Queens, New York. They received a BFA from SUNY Purchase in 2016.

Romney curated an exhibition called Symbiopsychotaxiplasm at Nicodim Gallery in tandem with their show Old Used & New at Gern en Regalia.

Romney has an aptitude for relationships across artistic genres as well as in the profane world of every day life. Their work stems from visions and utilizes talismans and archival imagery. It encompasses painting and poetry and finding the connectivity between the two. Romney invokes the practical use of chaos magic in their daily creations. Angelic contact. Inner guidance. Underground sunlight. Goddess Hecate at the doorway.
Divinely fragrant. They draw on the visceral wisdom available through potent states of consciousness, community, earthy and transcendent sources, anchored by attempts at intention and discipline.

Mosie Romney is an emerald by day, ruby by night.

Romney has been an artist in residence at the Home School, Hudson in 2018, at Pocoapoco, Oaxaca City in 2021, and at The Macedonia Institute, Chatham, New York in 2021.
