Liz Nielsen is an experimental photographer based in Newburgh, New York, USA. Her photographs are made without a camera and can be described as light paintings or photograms. She works in the analog color darkroom exposing light sensitive paper and processing it through traditional photographic chemicals. Nielsen received an MFA from the University of Illinois, Chicago in 2004, her BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2002, and her BA in Philosophy and Spanish from Seattle University in 1997. Liz has exhibited her work extensively including recent solo exhibitions in New York, Los Angeles, London, Budapest, and Paris. Her photograms have been featured at international art fairs such as Paris Photo, Photo London, AIPAD New York, Unseen Amsterdam, and Landskrona Foto in Sweden. Nielsen has been reviewed in Artforum, the Wall Street Journal, the New Yorker, the Guardian, the London Financial Times, LensCulture, Vogue UK, and FOAM magazine among others.

Dávid Biró’s interest is characterized by technology and its critical examination. Its aim is to map the technological environment that defines our everyday life and to uncover their social and political effects. Biró is a representative of the new generation of Hungarian photographers, his works are regularly featured in art festivals and exhibition spaces on the Hungarian and international scene, such as Ludwig Museum, MODEM, Q Contemporary, Capa Center and Mai Manó Ház. Biró graduated from Kaposvár University and MOME. In 2018, he was a finalist of the Dutch ING Unseen Talent Award, in 2022 he won the MODEM award, in 2021 and 2022 he received the József Pécsi creative scholarship.
