The Cowboy, seen from my saddle, is part Messiah/part Yosemite Sam; the reverent/irreverent existing simultaneously in my version of the archetype. I am a Texan living in Philly, mining images of The West and having grown up in a time when being a cowboy is largely nothing but a mindset.
