Joseph TASNÁDI (1960) lives and works in Budapest, Hungary. He’d studied architecture and fine arts. He’s preoccupied by the depiction modalities of time, of the notional abstraction, of the invisible and of the possible as such. He explores the relations between the contradiction and visuality. At first he worked as architect and graphic artist, later as painter. Following that he produced mainly installations and utopian plan-art. For a while his field of interest expanded to the digital manipulation of images and software art as well as to video stage design for contemporary theatre and dance performances. At persent his focus has turned towards multimedia installation and intervention art. Tasnádi is an associate professor at the Moholy-Nagy University of Art And Design, Budapest.
