The World Web Wrappers series navigates the overflow of images and cultural collage in the post-internet era, using AI-generated soap operas and movie posters as its medium. It blends the immediacy and absurdity of meme culture with the dramatic visual storytelling of mass media. The nonsensical title suggests a deliberately low-barrier entertainment value, yet beneath the surface lies a reflection on the mechanisms of image production, the templating of popular culture, and how digital media shape contemporary visual experiences. By integrating text and image models to replicate the visual habits of mass culture, the series blurs the boundary between ”original“ and ”copy,“ presenting a state of hyperreality.
