Kunstverein Harburger Bahnhof is opening a new venue: 4 wall vitrines in the covered area between track 3&4. From now on exhibitions will take place regularly in these vitrines. The inauguration show is Ida Lennartsson: “Avatar Blues”, a presentation dedicated to pigeons, accumulation, values and needs.
Ida says pigeons are communists. Or she wants them to be communists cause she likes pigeons a lot. And she likes communism. They are really smart. Apparently, pigeons can fly tremendous distances. They see very well and have way better concentration then humans. They share everything equally, that’s why Ida decided they are communists. But its actually what is called the Ideal free distribution, and what can be applied to many animals. Never got capitalism going.
