goodtime is an exhibition that continues and expands on activities ongoing at goodwater gallery (@goodwatercorktown / www.goodwatergallery.com) for the past 4 years. This long term, often-changing exhibition – Tools ’n’ Shit –  is run and lived-in by John Goodwin. In its fourth phase, the ongoing show is currently interrupted by the plumb exhibition. goodtime and Tools’ n’ Shit explore artist experimentation, correspondence, accumulation, storytelling, time, and inviting failure. Also a nod to Diana Balton, the Lower East Side, Multiples, Mail Art and the Underground. Projects that have unfolded throughout multi-part Goodwater exhibitions have been slow, long-durational, extended experiments, co-conspired with John. The goodtime exhibition at the plumb is a one-month mutant that seeks to continue the stories and celebrate John and his ongoing activities.
