Mother Culture Los Angeles is pleased to present Everything Is More Than One Thing Future Feel Good, an exhibition of work by Dachi Cole, Jared Madere, Bunny Rogers, Jake Cruzen, Jacolby Satterwhite, Suzy Amis Cameron, James Cameron, and Darja Bajagić.

Someone once wrote a book about the American fixation with the apocalypse; it’s all that can be imagined because it’s the only plausible future left, they said. Apocalyptic thinking is the low hanging fruit of our imagination. It’s the way things are going, and the way things are going doesnt look like they’re going to change. An apocalypse is the result of no work, no resteering. What is between now and the future could be straight line, sometimes a visionary quality is a willingness to bend the road, and an optimism about the place of uncertainty that that leaves us.
