Galerie Chantal Crousel is pleased to present David Douard’s new exhibition, 0’LULABY, in its second space at 5 rue de Saintonge.

Rooted in different language and communication registers, David Douard’s work is at the interstice of physical and virtual worlds. From his wandering down the streets and the social networks, the artist collects discarded objects, anonymous texts, poetry and images — all fragments of private lives affixed in the public space.

Graduated from the École nationale supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Paris in 2011, his work has been shown in solo and collective exhibitions by international institutions such as: FRAC Île-de-France, Paris (2020); Irish Museum of Modern Art, Dublin (2019); Palais de Tokyo, Paris (2014 and 2018); Musée d’Art Moderne, Paris (2015 and 2017) ; Fridericianum, Kassel (2015); Sculpture Center, New York (2014); Astrup Fearnley Museet, Oslo (2014).

David Douard participated in numerous biennials: Biennale de Lyon (2013); Taipei Biennial (2014); Gwangju Biennale (2018).

His works have joined the collections of Musée d’Art Moderne, Paris, France; Fonds national d’art contemporain, France; FRAC Île-de-France, Paris, France; FRAC Limousin, Limoges, France.
