Influenced by the way society consumes visual information at an everincreasing speed. In this series Davies looks at the interpretation of an image than once meant something else. The cloud, a fluffy unknown that was once anything you imagined – a castle, a dinosaur or space ship. Now, something you merely take the time to look up at. Also, a storage device for ones own digital possessions. A space to collect, a space for hoarding and a space that never gives us the ability to touch. Everything is up in the air, lost in the cloud. The addition of the unbranded tin can and tea towel in the works is an image from the everyday. One that may stop us interpreting cloud illusions and signifies life hitting us in the face.
