Steffen acknowledges: See now, darkness falls.
Petter folds and welds.
Darkness falls.
Jenny looks.

Jenny thinks: The sublime.
Jessica thinks: Uncluttered and soft. Different here. Movements, dried, dry dry in the gloom.
Jenny thinks: Gigantic.
Steffen says: They must seem smaller on the Suffolk beach.
Steffen thinks: Salty too.
Petter asks: Pigment in the breakers?
Jessica laughs: Fishermen in tents. I’m sure they think I’m mad! The beach is full of mad ladies.
Stian thinks: Parachuters plummeting into the Atlantic, fighting the heavy cloth.
Petter thinks: The pulling out. The pulling back in. The car trunk soaked.
Petter imagines: Shriveled jellyfish.
Morten says: Indexical.
Jenny says: Fibrous.
Jenny thinks: The Waves [1931].
Mia reminds: The heavy water pulls them down and props them up straight. Remember they can bend and overlay.
Petter thinks: All large and sharp. Theatrical dimesions.
