Max and Pam met in 2019 during their residency at Budapest Art Factory, where they had the idea of a show, split in two parts: one in each of their home countries USA and Germany. The exhibition in the US already took place in June/July this year at Ober Gallery, Kent and this current exhibition at Berthold Pott Cologne (October) is part two of the dual exhibition concept.
Pam Glick, born 1956, lives and works in Buffalo, NY, USA. She was formally trained at the Rhode Island School of Design where she received a BFA in painting.

Glick was widely exhibited during the 1980s and 1990s, most notably in New York City with solo shows at Ramnerine Gallery (Long Island City), White Columns and Wolff Gallery as well as a solo show at Michael Kohn Gallery in Los Angeles. Glick’s work has also been included in important group shows alongside works by artists such as Jean Michele Basquiat, George Condo and Christopher Wool and in 2016 Glick had a solo exhibition at White Columns, NY. Glick’s work is a part of many collections, both public and private, including the Albright-Knox Art Gallery, Burchfield Penney Art Center, M&T Bank, Eli Broad Foundation and Citi Bank. In June/July 2020 she exhibited together with Max Frintrop at Ober Gallery, Kent, USA.
Max Frintrop, born 1982, lives and works in Düsseldorf, Germany. He studied at the Academy of Düsseldorf, Germany (masterclass of Albert Oehlen, 2009).

Moreover he had solo exhibitions e.g. at Budpest Art Factory, Berthold Pott Cologne, Albert Baronian Brussels, Lyles and King, New York, Andersen´s Contemporary Copenhagen and A+B, Brescia, Italy.
