Ilana Yacine Harris-Babou (b. 1991, Brooklyn, NY, lives and works in Richmond, VA)

She has recently participated in group exhibitions at Sculpture Center, NY, NY; Jewish Museum, NY, NY; Judith Charles Gallery, NY, NY;  FJORD, Philadelphia, PA; Artspace, New Haven, CT and Le Doc, Paris, FR, among others. She has had solo exhibitions at  Vox Populi Gallery in Philadelphia, PA and Broad Street Gallery in Hartford, CT. A solo show at Reynolds Gallery in Richmond, VA is forthcoming. She is currently a fellow at Virginia Commonwealth University and will be a Visiting Artist in Video at Williams College, MA in 2018. She will be an artist-in-residence at the Museum of Arts and Design, NY, NY this summer. Harris-Babou received a BA in Art from Yale University in 2013 and an MFA from Columbia University in 2016.
